Good Morning! (or afternoon, or evening…)This is a question we are asked constantly, “My online application says deficiency, what is wrong?”
When you check on your application online may see see a lot of items marked “deficient” in the color red. This will be confusing; 99% of the time, deficient means that the examiner has not yet reviewed that part of the application. “CHK VALID REL” will normally stay red on all applications until the application is approved and signed off by a supervisor. Please note that not all online application status inquiries will have the CHK VALID REL.
To put it in loose terms, your application is not really deficient unless you receive an email or a letter from the DBPR stating that your application is deficient. They will ask for corrections from the areas that need addressing, whether it be adding to or editing the existing information.
The email will be from application.deficiencies@myfloridalicense.com. The subject will be your last name, first name, application number, & profession number. (i.e. O’Connor, Robin, Marie, Application: 123456, Profession 0602.
Sometimes, the deficiency letters will go into spam or junk mail folders; please make sure you are not auto-deleting those folders until you have scrubbed them for accidents!
If you have a deficiency letter and are not sure of how to handle the deficiency, we are VERY good at fixing deficient application! email us at robin@needfloridalicense.com or text me to have me call you at 941-685-0955.
I hope and pray everyone is recovering from the lockdowns. Bless every one of you!
Robin
