For Exam Candidates:
Please add this email address to your Email contacts address book(s); without your Pearson Vue Authorization to test, you will not be able to schedule your exam dates. If you have already registered to take the exams through Professional Testing, Inc or PTI (website is www.floridaexam.com ) AND you paid the $135 initial registration fee, then please go through your emails and look for this email address: PearsonVUEConfirmation@pearson.com to see if you received your authorization.
If you just now signed up with PTI to take the exam within the past few days, then make sure you are checking your Junk/Spam folders each day as these emails often go into spam.
If you have any issues with PTI or with Pearson Vue, didn’t get the Authorization email, etc.…, then please use the methods below to contact the test firms:
To contact Pearson Vue directly (only if you paid the $135 registration fee): chat contact available at: https://home.pearsonvue.com/fl/construction/contact
State of Florida DBPR Customer Contact Center: 1-850-485-1395 if you need to talk to the DBPR (ask for the Bureau of Education and Testing)
Professional Testing: Contact FLconstruction@proftesting.com for non-Pearson-related issues, but if you need to ask about your Authorization to Test, please email them at pearson@proftesting.com or call them at 407-264-2855. You will probably hear from someone sooner if you use the email method.
Please do not call License Exam Services for these issues as we will have to contact these people anyway; you can get a much quicker resolution if you talk to them directly. These organizations prefer to talk with the exam candidates directly. Besides, we do not receive any compensation from any testing or State agency to get involved in these issues, nor can we charge the exam candidate for our time spent on hold with these government and NGO organizations that run very inefficiently; yet, leave their applicants hanging in limbo. Unfortunately, we are all at a State-run agency’s mercy; we will help as much as we can, but we have to set a boundary as the Pandemic has changed the nature of how the DBPR and its vendors now do business.
Back to the Authorization to Test notice you will receive via email: the email will look similar this (this is not a complete email message, this is only for reference):
**PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL**
