Florida Division of Corporations Annual Reports January 2nd
Monday, 23 December 2013
We are at the end of the year and come January 2nd, Florida Corporations and Limited Liability Companies will be required to renew their Annual Reports with the Florida Division of Corporations. Annual Reports are required to be filed before May 1st, 2014 to avoid a $400 penalty. The State of Florida DOC only sends out notification emails that many contractors either disregard as spam, or the emails do not get through to the mail server.
Every year, we check your filing as a courtesy; we find that often our clients did not get their renewal or overlooked it. The DOC does not physically mail renewal notices. We do not want to see you have any issues with your Contractor’s license that you worked so hard to obtain!
Will this affect my contractor’s license? In most cases, Yes; your active license is tied to your corporation or LLC unless you hold your license as an individual.

Florida CILB/DBPR Approved Credit Reports
Sunday, 04 August 2013
We are pleased to announce that although the DBPR has been accepting our credit reports for a while now, License Exam Services is now published on the list of CILB/DBPR approved credit report providers.
Our credit reports include your FICO score and both the business and personal credit reports are formatted so that they are easy to read for the examiners.
Because we are familiar with the application process, if we see any potential issues that may stall your application, we will make you aware of them before your application is submitted to the State.

Get State-Certified! Grandfather Your License!
Thursday, 14 February 2013
Good evening!
I cannot stress enough what an important opportunity Grandfathering your State-Registered license to a State-Certified License is. These kind of bonuses do not come along often! It is much easier to maintain a copy of your State Certified License with your working locations than going through the ever-long reciprocity hassle. License Exam Services makes it easy to go through the paperwork process.
There are a few companies out there offering to help you out with the application, but they do not make it as simple as License Exam Services does. We do not send you a bulky workbook to fill out with instructions that can take a couple of days to complete; we take your information over the phone, schedule your fingerprint appointment, gather your credit reports, and for most counties, we obtain the Verification of Examination/Letter of Good Standing for you.

Get Rid of that Registered License and Go State-Certified!
Tuesday, 05 February 2013
License Exam Services has helped over 400 State Registered Contractors upgrade those licenses to State-Certified Licenses since October 2012! This is not a scam, there are no strings, and this is for real!
If you took a Block, Experior, Prometric, NAI, or Thompson Prometric exam for your trade and your license has been in good standing for 5 years with no fines over $500 or revocations/suspensions of your license, you can become a State Certified Contractor without taking the State Exam. This applies to the major trades licenses (drywall and specialty structure are not included). You have to fingerprint, get credit reports, and pay the fees; that’s it.
